Rodent infestation at one point. Maintenance requests were responded to slowly and often incompletely. Landlord incessantly complained to tenants about the cost and inconvenience of having to address reasonable maintenance requests, and frequently blamed tenants for problems which were related to her own poor upkeep of the property. For instance, once we had raw sewage backing up into the bathroom (including the shower drain) which she did not initially want to address immediately, and for which she blamed the tenants (but later apologized when the plumbers discovered a pre-existing problem). Worst of all, she made sketchy arrangements regarding which residents would and would not be named on the lease.
