Do not be fooled by the reasonable rent; once you are in, they will keep raising it! Their site says, "We pride ourselves in excellent service with our own office and maintenance staff as well as 24 hour emergency service to meet your housing needs." Customer Care Policy "Our Customers are the most important people in our organization. They are not dependent upon us. We are dependent upon them. Residents, Prospective Residents and Buyers do not interrupt our work. They are the reason we have work. Customers do us a favor when they call. We are not doing them a favor by returning calls. We may be busy, but they take priority. Our customers bring us their wants. It’s our job to listen, to understand and to fill those wants. Customers are not cold statistics. They are unique human beings with different feelings, emotions and needs. We have a job, when they allow us to fill those needs. Our customers are deserving of the most courteous treatment we can give them. A customer is not someone to argue or match wits with. They may not always be right, but they are always our customers. We do not have to be right, we are here to serve. Properly cared for, they will remain our customers for life and bring us new ones." I call "BS" on this. If you rent from them you will be treated as if they are doing you a favor for the supreme privilege of renting from them. They will not answer the phone if you call; they will ignore your voice messages; they will not respond to maintenance issues (even serious ones). Please note: I lived happily here for 4 years, then every thing went down hill. The last year here was a never ending nightmare! I have always paid my rent on time (or early), I have made improvements at my own expense (SWP have made none), I have abided by every requirement set forth in my lease and have never caused an issue for anyone else... ever. On 8/22 I received a "we have enjoyed you as a tenant" lease renewal letter. On 8/23 I responded that I could not commit to staying while water is coming in through the roof of my apartment (pieces of the ceiling falling down); and I disputed the rent increase for many reasons. The reply was, get out by 9/29! See pics of just a couple of incidents; there are more.
