I moved to this beautiful location on the river for privacy, space and quiet. I got none of those things. Landlady said garage apartment was always empty. First fall, her freeloading artist friends showed up... and stayed months not bothering to tell me they were using my utilities! Water sewer electric- even tried to con me out of WiFi password. Finally, they left. Landlady said no one would be back. Six months later with half hour notice- the freeloading husband without his wife is back, knocking on my door and asking for *****. It gets so so much weirder- landlady and her French male companion questioned me like the geatapo about whom I knew who had been living in the garage apartment all winter (no heat, no water and just gross anyway) I said I don’t know any homeless people. Was entry forced? He said no. I said ‘then it’s likely that a former tenant or friend of YOURS has trespasses— it was a one way ticket to kooky town after that. They came over within 5 minutes asking absurd questions (the freeloading folk got these senior stirred up). Violated most of my tenancy rights and continued to fight by text for 1 days (I didn’t answer). They are nincompoops. I’m waiting for her to go broke and buy her river property
