* Elevators (of which there are only two for a 16-floor building) get shut off for months at a time
* There is constant loud drilling and construction on the building starting at 7am
* loud clanking heaters
* The building has been undergoing construction to its exterior for months -- I am often woken up at 7am to construction workers standing/talking right outside my window. I have to keep my blinds closed all the time during the week.
* Water outages happen very often with very short notice
* Electricity outages also happen - This week, we were given 3 days notice for an 8-hour full building power outage (including elevators) during the workweek.
At least 20 other residents I know of feel that we had no idea of these hassles and the drastic disruption to our lives that would occur at the time when we signed our leases. The least management could do is provide a rent concession to residents for these past and ongoing unexpected inconveniences.
