Definitely NOT a non-smoking building

The lease clearly states that the building is non-smoking. Although I like the apartment, the stench of marijuana and cigarette smoke in my apartment is absolutely nauseating. I have purchased an apartment sized air purifier along with many air fresheners to try to combat the odors but the disregard by other tenants heavily outweighs my futile attempts. My concerns have not been addressed by the property manager leading me to believe this has been a known issue for sometime.

Decent place. Needs improvement

Most people are talking about Erica on here. Yea she is unresponsive sometimes. Needs to be in office more. Dave is a great maintenance guy. No complaints with him. I own a pet and pick up after her. I feel like nobody else picks up after their dogs. Would like to see management deal with that a little more efficiently. Also during summer, lighten place up. Plant flowers up front. Gym machines need to be cleaned too. A lot of issues with irresponsible tenants in building.

We have recently hired Leasing Agents for our portfolio to allow Property Managers more time to be at the properties and deal with issues like you are mentioning. Also, interior and exterior garden beds will be part of the landscaping contract going forward. You will see pops on Spring colors very soon! Thanks again.

The Remington lofts are a great place to live and underrated location on the water.

Great property and all utilities included in the monthly rent. Underrated location with some nice bars/restaurants located within walking distance. Water views, on-site gym and rooftop access are nice additional benefits. Garage parking offered if willing to pay extra.

The Remington lofts are a beautiful property. The location is wonderful and the management company is very helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

Great Amenities, clean!

Need more in depth information when considering moving in. There are some noise issues with the train near by and the restaurant. There are concerts and food smells all the time. Receiving any kind of key or fob took a while. Otherwise living at Remington Lofts has been great. It's clean has great amenities,and feels safe. Living by the canal has huge perks. Wish the rent was stable and not raised annually! (Especially during covid)

Beautiful apartment

Great apartment, terrible management. Track light in kitchen broke, was replaced by a very small track light that is terrible the kitchen is very dark, I had to put a floor lamp in the kitchen to see. when I complained, was told there was nothing she could do about it. Management could care less about any issues.

I love it here but

I love it here! All the workers are very friendly. The only thing I would improve is faster response times with questions or issues but if that's my biggest concern then I'm okay with it.

Beautiful location, terrible management

The location is ideal and the view from the apartment is beautiful. However if you have any issues, don't count on management to fix them. Property manager Erika is unresponsive and unprofessional. There are tenants who know this and take advantage, such as playing loud music late into the night, dogs barking all night long, and stealing delivery packages. You will be charmed by the beautiful apartment, but don't move in, the stress is not worth it.

Love my apartment!

I love my apartment and the location. But maintenance of common areas-stairwells, laundry room, etc-is lousy...trash collects in stairwells at times. Management is nice but slow to respond, when they respond. And there was never any recycling, which is disappointing.

Pros - beautiful apartment with a great view. Cons - the manager is never on site and is very unresponsive to emails; the building is not clean (laundry rooms are disgusting); delayed bldg maintenance

The landlord has been very unresponsive to requests, and slow to fix issues in the building and common areas. The building is always dirty - the laundry rooms are the worst. The building is supposed to be “secure” but the front doors are left unlocked all day and night - packages get stolen and anyone can enter the building at any time. It is unfortunate, because I love my apartment.

As long as you have no issue with the property or your neighbors this is a great place to live. However, if you ever need to rely on the property manager Erika for anything you will be disappointed and frustrated every time.
