The apartment is near campus and very inexpensive, however the interior is not the most ideal. It is very small and has a lot of shoddy repairs (taped handrail on stairs, stains on walls, bad patchwork on doors). Phillip is a pretty easy-going landlord, although he did not explain trash pickup well and we got a few fines, he did however admit it wasn't explained and cover the cost of those. He also cashes the checks really late which can be stressful, as well as coming in unannounced somewhat frequently.

Hard to communicate with him because English isn't his primary language. He takes up to 2 weeks to cash the rent checks. I had problem with bugs, the air in the house, and flooding in my room.
