Front door supposed to be locked at all ...
Front door supposed to be locked at all time. Broken. Other tenants say broken for long time. Have water turned off without notice many time. No information posted for emergency. New tenant cars towed. Hall way not clean. Papers throne on floor by mailboxes. Some boxes broekn. Charge lot of money for not good area and crappy apartments.
We have lived in our apartment for almos...
We have lived in our apartment for almost 11 years. Peter was not the original landlord when we moved in. About 9 years in, our building was sold and Peter became the building manager. His company, Genesis Realty & Management, is who we pay rent to each month. He does not have the building exterminated as he should even when it's brought to his attention. The front door to our building is supposed to be locked and you are to have a key to enter. In the 2 years that he has been managing the building, the door has only been "not broken" for maybe a month total. In 2 years our rent has jumped $350. Our apartment has not had any updates or the few things we've mentioned to him that need to be fixed, fixed. There have been a few times that there hasn't been any hot water in the entire building for a few days. Times where the trash wasn't picked up for over a month and the electricity in the building (not individual apartments as we pay our own electricity) turned off. When given our updated lease this year, he wanted it back the very next day without us even discussing whether or not we wanted to stay. I would not recommend him as a landlord or for any company to hire his so called management company to handle things at a building they own. Because of things he has/hasn't done, good long term paying tenants left and now he is scrambling to get 4 vacant apartments filled.
