The apartment was very well kept (recently refurbished, very comfortable) and in a great location (close to CMU, grocery stores, bars, and restaurants); the neighborhood is beautiful, tranquil, safe, and welcoming. Frank, the landlord, is very responsive and easy to talk to; the application process was simple, and we had no disagreements regarding the lease agreement, deposit, move dates, or any other topic. apartment was good enough, but landlord was terrible. door to the outside balcony was broken when we viewed the apartment before moving in and we were told "there's no way to fix it" several months into living there. also, a neighboring apartment caught fire, and without hardwired smoke detectors we almost didn't even realize! also there's mice. we made him aware of all of these issues and he fixed none of them, but is somehow still increasing the rent? not worth it.

Do not recommend. Slow to answer issues (went without heat for months, had mice for weeks). There was a fire in the house I lived in and discussions of unpermitted electric work that was never fixed. He entered the premise while I was asleep and this happened to other female residents who lived alone, horribly uncomfortable.

The property was ok, but getting to expensive for what I’m getting in return.

I was able to live at 315 N Neville for a little shy of 2 years, and I had an amazing experience. The space is beautifully renovated, and the common areas such as the stairwell were always kept extremely clean and tidy. All neighbors during both years were quiet, well-mannered, and respectful. Frank, the landlord, was by far the best landlord I have ever had. He answered all calls promptly, took care of maintenance in a timely manner, and was genuinely thoughtful of his residents.
