Horrible experience with property manager

I deserved way more of my security deposit than I got. The apartment was a DIY apartment that the landlords built. When I moved in the landlords specifically said "everything in there can be easily replaced." Since they did the tile work poorly, it started chipping within the first WEEK of me being there. A counter that they had built also cracked and made me pay at least double of what I would cost for them to replace it. I felt scammed because I am a student and I did not feel like I was getting the same treatment as an older adult would have received.
