Security doors don’t lock. Before locks changed ,someone was letting themselves in my apt, including once in the middle of night while I was there. They don’t change the locks when people move out. In the winter, there are homeless sleeping in the trash room/ garage/ storage or laundry room. One tenant refers to the laundry room as the dungeon with good reason. Our building smells of weed. Many apts have more than the legal amt. of adult people on the lease . Many of the people are immigrants and are rude and destroy the inside and outside of the building. There are people in this building who are nice and take care of their places, but it’s hard when you have others who destroy everything including people peace. The management is aware and doesn’t care. They told one tenant that these people are a protected class...
We had days several times with no heat in December and January and the manager didn’t care. When I moved in the advertisement said all utilities including WiFi and cable was included. Once I signed the lease, I called after a few days and was told, No you’re not getting that. And if you look again it’s not in your lease. It was only in the advertisement.
The building is so noisy. We can here 4 tenants in different apartments at once. Tenants told us that they are removing carpeting in all their Mt. Lebanon apts. We're from Massachusetts and most places require carpeting for noise abatement. The female receptionist is a polite drone and it's not worth the time talking with her. The head manager is aloof and sneaky. Negligent management who have no respect for the people they live off. The letting agent Doreen is helpful at times but she gets things so twisted around and at times it can be exhausting to explain things to her. Maintenance NEVER calls back or responds unless you call a dozen times
Meyers in Mt. Lebanon are trying to give the appearance that they are some professional company lately. They are the same slumlords camouflaged with phoney salespeople, mostly women, who sit on a pile of Daddy's or their husgand's cash. Cold and callous. There are rats all over, security system broke, no lights in the back/side, no proper hand railing on concrete steps outside, laundry room is filthy. They have a holdover from the last Mt. Lebanon manager who is the maintenance manager and is nothing but a low class handyman with a title. He is worse than the former slumlord manager who the current office manager "Sharon" did nothing about since she started working for her Daddy's company in 2004. She thinks she is too good to talk to tenants. She is a Boston university graduate who has learned nothing but to be a cold and callous money grubber, like all phoney real estate salespeople. Her new female sidekick is some spoiled girl who looks down on working people and thinks she is going to turn Mt. Lebanon apartments into some posh building in London. What a joke.
