A friend touched the oven range and suffered electrical shock. This also caused the fridge to catch fire. Assured me it was taken care of after that happened. The person he sent (he hires a lot of people off Craigslist) didn’t fix it. Was shocked again plugging in lights. Sent someone else out. Half the plugs in the apartment never worked. Friend who is an electrician said it sounded like the wiring was never grounded. 2) Vehicle broken into several times (just started leaving car unlocked. 3) Packages came up missing. He told us before we moved in he would have a keypad entry to get inside the building for tenants and deliveries. Never happened. 3) Mold growing in the laundry room 4) Floor is sinking in on ground floor apartments (I know cause I lived in one). 5) Towed out of the parking lot even with the sticker for tenants displayed properly. The tow company didn’t charge me but I still had to arrange a ride to pick my car up and had to Uber to work the morning it was towed. 6) Parking spaces in parking lot were not measured properly and it has caused a lot of issues including tenants causing damage to each other’s cars. Including mine. 7) Refused to do anything about a problematic tenant who had the police at their apartment 2-3 times a week including an incident where a person threatened to come there and shoot the tenant. Only started caring when people were threatening to not pay rent. 8) Lawn is hardly ever mowed by whatever services he uses. 9) Trash (which is taken to the curb by one of his maintenance people) was forgotten about quite a bit leaving cans full when you wanna to take your trash out. It also caused smells, bugs, and other rodent issues. 10) Birds taking over the front of the building and waking you up every morning at 4am. 11) Expected us to allow entry for potential tenants to come look at our apartment with barely 24 hour notice during a global pandemic. 12) An email admitting he had someone on staff test positive for Covid and not alerting his tenants 13) Knew the date we hired movers and still made an appointment for someone to come look at the apartment on that day. 14) Water pressure and temp issues 15) Little to no notice about maintenance issues requiring them to come inside to check them out. 16) Little to no response when contacting him about issues 17) Personally witnessed him no show on appointments with potential renters as well as outsourced people like plumbers, electricians, etc. 18) Place was not cleaned at all before we moved in even tho he swore up and down it was. 19) Disgusting oven range given to us as a replacement for the one that shorted out. 20) Disgusting fridge that was a replacement for the one that caught fire. Then replaced again because it made such a loud humming noise and also ruined $100 in groceries. 21) Never once uttered the words “I am sorry” or “Is everyone ok?” after me and my friend suffered electrical shock. 22) No walk thru inspection before moving in. 23) Tenant caught on camera hitting another tenants’ car. Nothing done.
