I honestly just would like to thank Brian the Leasing Agent for all of his help! He was really determined to help me find what I was looking for unlike some agents. He answered all questions with no hesitation and was very patient. I would recommend him to anyone looking to rent out a unit! He’ll get the job done‼️

No one has yet to come out and clean roach defecation behind kitchen cabinets or main room closet walls. Put on two maintenance request for that.

Ceiling fell in i had to pay out of pocket with a new born baby! New maintenance team every month and they never fixed things. Rodents were horrible, very unprofessional. Just a all together bad experience after the first year of living there!

This place is horrible.... the front door is never fixed or easily broken into Homeless people using the bathroom and leaving trash in the stairwell This building I’m talking about is 3014 west 63rd No one can get into contact with the landlords Filled out a matanience request in 2018 and the guy didn’t come knocking on my door until a year later in 2019 Everyone agrees this is horrible place and no one gave a good review smh

Not only do i pay utilities for the common areas, I’ve had bug i issues, they false advertised in unit washing machine and central air, and now we’re out of water for the 3rd time within 30 days

NO HELP

Today is December 15th 2019 the time is 9:34 a.m. I put in a maintenance request about 1 a.m. and I called about 1:05 a.m. my fuse has blown a my apartment and I have no heat no electricity I have four children one of which I was given a breathing treatment to with his asthma machine when the incident occurred I called the landlord himself and I called one of the maintenance guys directly when I call the maintenance line number I told the agent who asked the phone that I was giving my son a breathing treatment because of it asthma and I that was urgent that someone comes out to fix the problem I was told I will have to wait for the property manager to get in contact with me so that someone could come out and flick the fuse so that I can get power in my apartment I have been having issues what the fuse box since I moved in there is no fuse box inside my apartment someone will have to go to the main switch so that's why I can regain power in my apartment no one has done so it has been a little over nine hours what no power no heat in my apartment my apartment is freezing cold and my food it started to defrost today is Sunday and the maintenance people are not answering the phone i need help.

Highly Fustrated and Disappointed

Calls and emails made to company went unanswered. Security deposit not returned after moving. No explanation of why security deposit with held. Rodents in the winter are vicious. Plumming issues went unanswered or a maintenance personal was sent out only to say there isn't a issue. Same plumming problem continued to happen. Although they make sure to communicate when rent is due

Slum aint the word

When i first moved in my unit i loved how spacious and modern it looked. This is complete smoke and mirrors. I have had a problem with mice since i been living in this unit and i am a very clean tenant. I complain put in request but i get bs responses. Me and my husband are currently trying to find away out of this lease. Once winter hits the mice are going to be everywhere and i cant deal. Why pay almost 1200 to live like your in the projects smh

Completely Absentee Landlords, No Real Way to Contact

The apartment was redone nicely and the rent was decent for the area, so it had good first impressions. No other impression has been good. There is no reliable way to get in contact with Icarus on any issues. In our first week our car was towed from the provided parking spot and it took months for them to credit the cost of the towing. We've had various maintenance issues of varying severity and there's no way of knowing if or when they'll send somebody to address it, generally the maintenance person will call day-of. We started withholding rent after months of an ongoing leak in the bathroom, this got their attention and they would send someone to paint over the damage every now and again, but they have not in two years actually tried to fixed the leak. I'm moving out now, and I have no way of letting them know.

EXTREMELY BAD

When I first moved in, most of the windows didn't have screens on them or were in terrible condition. We couldn't check some of the appliances since the gas and electricity was off. So, when we first started to use the appliance, some of the were faulty(1 of 4 stove tops didn't ignite). Always at least took a week to respond to maintenance requests. There are some requests that still haven't been resolved after I moved out. I tried to contact them saying I moved out, but they don't have an email. I called their phone line, but was never able to connect to a real person. I was always told to leave a message, but no one every got back to me... Absolute Sheet

Slum lords..

Icarus investment group is an absentee slum lord with at least 60 other negligent properties in the Chicagoland area. There is no one available remotely to answer your questions. Your concerns are dumped into a voicemail box that never gets checked. Upon moving into the unit, none of the promised repairs were made. Mold was present, faucets were leaking, and the unit was filled with dirt and dust.

TERRIBLE

THIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I had an appointment scheduled to view two units. Upon arrival at the location I called the individual I was to meet and was told to meet him at the front door. When I get to the front door, I happened to notice a couple sitting in a car smoking but thought nothing of it. After about 3 or 4 minutes the gentleman steps out of the car and signals me to follow him. He failed to introduce himself or confirm any of the details of the unit we were entering. & quest frankly he just looked like someone off a corner with no regard for is visual representation whatsoever. I wouldn't expect him to have on a 3 piece suit to show an apartment, but clean pants would suffice. He provided n0 clarification on the amenities of the unit or what was included. He simply sat in the living room on his phone as we walked through then asked if we had any questions at the end. He couldn't even confirm the price of the unit. I was completely turned off by his blatant unprofessionalism but we continued to the second unit only to learn he DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE KEY. There was no apology for the inconvenience nor follow up and I simply didn't move forward wit this company because of the representative that they sent for the showing. This property group is a bunch of clowns.

The City of Chicago needs to do something about this Real Estate Company. After the Mayor race is over, I am seriously going to make it my business to file a lawsuit against this Real Estate Company. Getting all my duckets in order and making plans with a lawyer and we will be on television. The have ignored the wrong person with their [email protected]@t!! You will see!

Poor management. you can call all you want but you'll go to voicemail and you will never get a call back. your only way of contact is through the online portal with the maintenance people and even that is automated. they come without telling us and sometimes don't even come at all no matter how urgent the matter is (like water leaking from the ceiling and causing mold)

Horrible experience

Never rent with them. They do not respond to phone calls. It’s impossible to reach a live person. The property manager is rude and very unprofessional. I only been living in their apartment for some months and every month there is a problem. I had to call the city on them plenty of times. There was no heat for about a month on and off. My ceiling has been linking for a week straight in every room. Please do not rent with them. Runnnnnnn worst mistake I ever made in my life.
