Horrible rental property company. STAY AWAY!

Horrible company! STAY AWAY! Charged unnecessary fees, was impossible to contact, and overall a horrible customer experience. NEVER RENT FROM THEM!

TERRIBLE - DO NOT RENT OR BUY

Have had a terrible experience with Glasberg Properties. Extremely poor construction of brand new construction which has created constant issues, which are never satisfactorily addressed by Alon Glasberg, Glasberg properties or its staff despite continuous follow ups. Maintenance people don’t know what they’re doing when they finally show up. Would certainly let not recommend buying or renting from this company. You’ll sincerely regret it.

HORRENDOUS - DO NOT PURCHASE HOME OR RENT FROM THIS COMPANY

Shoddy and unsafe construction of brand new home, like pulling teeth getting anyone from their company to address issues explicitly under the warranty even after multiple multiple follow ups with Alon Glasberg personally and his company's staff, incompetent maintenance workers who give you the runaround as well and do extremely poor work, TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, overall. Save yourself the grief, please.

Horrible experience

My roommates and I have had horrible experiences with Glasberg Properties over the 2 years living there. The worst part is the property manager, Betsy. We were never allowed any contact with the owner, Alon, and Betsy seems to be the only employee besides the maintenance man. She definitely seems to have too much on her plate, and never got back to us about any inquiries for several days and after several attempts. We had similar experiences to the other reviews such as the "included" wifi connection being very poor and unannounced visits many times a month. However, the worst has happened since we moved out 2 months ago and have still not received our security deposits back. Glasberg lied to us several times saying they had already mailed the deposits to all 8 of us, which is not the case. In addition, one roommate was double charged the last month's rent in July through the online paying portal, and was never credited the money; she was finally forced to file fraud through her credit card company. In short, Glasberg is extremely unprofessional and a truly terrible company to rent from. I am convinced that they are broke and are withholding our deposits because they do not have the money as a company to return them.

DO NOT RENT from Glasberg Properties!

Glasberg Properties main line was never answered when inquiring about details before moving in. Two shady alleged co-workers were very elusive, ambiguous and difficult to receive important answers from regarding details and policies about the lease before move in. When deciding NOT to continue with moving into the property due to concerns regarding a very suspicious and legally dangerous lease, the affiliates did not return my security deposit. There's no policy in place or legality stating that landlord's in PA are permitted to keep a prospective tenant's security deposit after the tenant decides against moving in. No where is it within their policy that security deposits are non-refundable. Currently I am taking legal action to hold the co-workers of Glasberg Properties accountable for theft. I highly recommend that everyone avoids doing business with this company. They are scam artists.

Extremely Rude, Disrespectful, and a Bully.

After all that I have been through with this landlord, I have reported him to Fair Housing and I'm going to take legal action for the lease violations. Any company that does showings for Glasberg Properties need to be aware that he DOES NOT give his tenants 24-Hour notice for showings. Which is why he does not allow tenants to have locks on the doors. What he is doing is extremely illegal, I have pointed this out to him many times. I do not recommend any students to rent from Glasberg Properties.

Not worth the money!

If your looking for a nice, good landlord - look elsewhere. Lets just start with the fact that the "handy man" has showed up several times unannounced with students showing them the apartment, barged into my room as I was stepping out of the shower - how professional?! Also, don't even try to have any problems fixed, you will be accused of "making it up" and "complaining too much". My building almost had our water shut off in January because the bill had not been paid since October - water is also included in our $2400/ month rent. The apartment was very nice when we first looked at it and it still is, because we have had to have our parents fix things around the apartment that "we were making up". I would defiantly steer clear of this landlord!
