The amount of assistance from the property manager was outstanding. I was relocating from out of town and did not know much about the area. He was extremely helpful, always available when I needed anything and super pleasant. I am so impressed and appreciative. I definitely recommend Gar for anyone, especially if you are relocating. Thanks Matt!

I live in the Haverford property, the Claremont. The apartment itself is nice enough. It is definitely overpriced considering how dated it is (2-prong outlets are a pain). The management are just out for your money, but so are most rental companies on the Main Line. The washer/dryers are $2 in the basement, which is ridiculous - you already own the machines, there is no reason to charge more considering the rent! Plus, they are really bad machines - the dryers do not dry. We have to hang dry our clothes in the apartment (over an hour long process start to finish) to avoid spending $4 to get one cycle of clothes dry. Obviously do not care about their tenants, maintenance is not prompt, do not recommend. Interacting with the property manager is also a very unpleasant experience.

Tried to raise my rent every year like clockwork. Laundry machines expensive and didn't work well. When I moved in, there were some old, ratty blinds from the previous tenant that the leasing agent specifically told me were not part of the lease. When I moved out, sure enough, they deducted money for the blinds from my security deposit.
