He is very slow when responding to tenants, he doesn't care at all and I have to keep hounding him to get basic repairs done.
When we entered the apartment on the first day of our lease the place was infested with gnats and flies coming from behind the fridge. Walls were not re-painted and had visual signs of wear. Backyard was overgrown and infested with bugs - needed serious cleaning. We reached out to Fahd but he wouldn't do anything about it so we took it upon ourselves and bought our own products to make the place livable. Fahd would come in on Saturday mornings at 8am unannounced about once every 3 months with exterminators for the bug and mouse problems. Come time of the move out, I reached out to Fahd a week before the lease ended to ask about anything that needed to be done to maximize our security deposit return (scrubbing, painting, etc). He responded a few days later "not sure yet, I'll get back to you". Never got back to us, the lease ended, and we were hit with ridiculous security deposit withdrawals despite leaving the place in better shape than how we received it. The guy is a lawyer at a top law firm in the Philadelphia area. There was nothing we could've done to dispute the charges. Avoid at all costs.
Typical scumbag lawyer. Hardly ever responded to anything. Never gave us any air filters, never fixed fence in backyard which cause us to get robbed. Place was dirty on move in. Never addressed constant issue with mice. Took 2 months to fix the bars on our front door. Refused to fix garbage disposal and toilet (still broken when we left). Told us that collapsing HVAC unit was "not my responsibility". Then completely ignored us after move out and kept our entire deposit despite the place being in the same (or better) condition than we found it despite all the things he refused to fix.
If you can avoid Fahd, absolutely do so. He has been the worst landlord I have ever experienced. Did not care about the well being of tenants at all, only about money.
Not very responsive to texts/calls when issues arise. Hands-off for the most part, except for pest control.
