Issues with Safety (building violations filed with 311 and HPD):
HPD found several violations, including lead-paint in the door and door-frame as well as improperly installed window guards. Super allows the rear entrance to remain open overnight on a constant basis .
Front door lock has been broken for over 1 year.
Basement ramp: not ADA compliant, dangerously uneven, cracked, handrail is busted.
Electrical system is so outdated the breakers trip on small current loads.
Issues with Cleanliness (building violations filed with 311):
There is no regular (weekly) sweeping / mopping of tenant floors, they are filthy obby mats are filthy
Basement floors and laundry room are filthy.
Garbage is overflowing and has vermin problems, Incinerator closets are filthy.
Great tenants though, who are made to suffer by an uncaring landlord and super.
