Elliott acted like this house was a burden to him. His mother showed up at the house one day completely unannounced and we did not let her in. They wanted to sell the house out of nowhere so they wanted to either have us keep the house in perfect condition and have potential buyers go in and out whenever they wanted (which would never work because we have dogs) or have us move out within a month. This broke our contract as we had just agreed to another 6-month lease less than one month before this happened and we started paying $50 higher in rent. We didn't feel like fighting it and having more random drop ins so we moved out. He then decided to attempt to keep our entire deposit, we brought on a family friend lawyer and then he only kept $225 of the $900 deposit claiming the grass was overgrown and the house was not clean enough - we cleaned every inch of that house and left it nicer than we moved in. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!!!
