A headache to deal with. Will take months to fix major rob

Doesn’t allow me to caption the photos so I’ll do it in here. So we have a broken microwave and it’s been like this for several weeks. He finally decided to purchase a new one (that’s what he said at least) and told us Monday he would have someone out to install it. It’s Wed. and between Monday and today he’s told us on three separate occasions that he was “coming out” on this day or AROUND this time. Ellery never gives us times and has his “handyman” Mike show up whenever. He basically strings us along until we’re ready to pull our hair out and start making legal threats. When we first moved in we waited two months for him to install the dishwasher. It sat in a box in our kitchen for that long and he strung us along as well the entire time! It was suppose to be installed the first week we were there. He’s refuses to fix a patch of carpet. He left our garage door opener broken for an entire year. It’s broken again and he doesn’t seem to care. Ellery is consistent with picking up our money for rent but not consistent with actually being a landlord. He’s been manipulative and unprofessional on several occasions to both me and my husband. He’s said contradicting things to the both of us causing us to fight about what we thought he said. I have 0 patience anymore and constantly upset living here. We’re moving out as soon as the lease is up. Our bathtub is peeling paint (see photo). The back porch is rotted and falling apart. I’ve felt the wood underneath my feet feel like it was going to cave in. He says it’s safe. He also said he was going to fix that up. People need to report these kinds of landlords consistently to make these scammers lose business. A lot of these “landlords” can’t take on responsibilities like this and shouldn’t be allowed to continue not doing so.
