He is a really good guy.... And if you're up front with him.... He will help you out.

His team came any time unannounced. All his repair men were either on drugs or alchohol or both. He also had substance issues. Brought prostitutes to our basement! His main repair man was caught sleeping in our kitchen after hours many nights and would pee in our kitchen sink. This was discovered by the mattress we found eventually and the pee smell coming from the sink. He plays nice at first, but he is terrible.

Eliot is really a nice guy, but as time passed there were a lot of red flags. When he signed the lease he was fine, but sometimes he would try to call and would answer with slurred words or not at all. I believe that maybe there was a drug habit, as sometimes he would also fall down when he came over. He also decided to renovate the basement without any notice, and his workers would come and go as they please. My roommates reported that they would smoke cigarettes and ***** in the basement as they worked, and often left their trash from lunch. We had to reset the water one time, and when I opened the panel to the new wall I found a soda can inside from one of the workers. Once, the kitchen cabinets completely fell off the wall. We also figured out that our neighbor's (also renting from Eliot) front door key matched our own when we had a lockout at one point. At one point we did have a break-in (to no fault of his own) and he was quick to respond. He seemed genuinely concerned and put bars on the window involved immediately. I have really mixed feelings about renting from him, because he seems like he truly does care about his tenants, but he cuts a lot of corners. On the plus side, the house was clean when we moved in, he allowed us to paint the walls, and was very lenient regarding pets.

This place is so trashy all the trash is right outside the back door and the pictures front window is broken has been for over a year bed bugs in the place roaches in the place no vacuum in living room kitchen ***** full of roaches eliott Carol is such a slumlord he says to call him and he'll be right out to handle things you call him he gives you the runaround doesn't do nothing you ask people coming to your apartment anytime they want his workers him if he does happen to come around without no notice and there's just so much too much to put here
