People came into the rooms unannounced. The wifi never worked and the residents were told to go to the local Starbucks if it was an emergency. The housing essentials never even worked (microwaves, ovens, etc.). I was paying $1650 a month for the crap he was going through. The place is a dump and at one point even brought in a roommate to live with my son who was nearly a decade older than him and rarely showered.
They have a ridiculous fee or guests. They only enforce policies that ensure they get more money out of students. The building itself, sucks. Walls are thin. Bugs come through the AC. The kitchen is filthy. The sinks often clog and the faucets, ovens, burners, etc. rarely work correctly. Don't live here. You will regret it. 100%
If you're in NY, you're best bet is getting an apartment in the surrounding area like Brooklyn or further out in Manhattan. They're crooks and the RD is awful. We even lost heat for a week in the middle of winter. Lost hot water for a week and a half. And, had NO INTERNET FOR A MONTH AND A HALF!!
