The old man can't check his emails to save his life, expect to email 5x before anything gets done. He's also sexist and disrespectful and will use the power of being a landlord to threaten you.

The landlord is a bully with the fact that he's the landlord. When I wanted to renew my lease in 2021 he told me to talk to him respectfully because he didn't have to renew it. This is false, washington state law protects from that. This year he lied about needing the apartment for his pregnant daughter, then later told us he was showing the unit to potential tenants WHILE WE STILL LIVED THERE. +He's a decrepit old man about emails and will lose them and then blame you for not responding to HIM.
