Brooklyn, NY
Mitchell Rothken is the worst person to work with in the building. And, soon enough, every resident realizes he is a convict and a disbarred lawyer. This is their pitbull and he acts as such. Leave these guys and, don't walk, run elsewhere.
I guess the super and the landlord didn't take well to the fact that I called Con Ed on my own because I was met with a torrent of yells and bush league responses. The gas leaks were dangerous and we had to go without heat and hot water for long stints in time. The yelling got so unbelievable, the Con Ed worker informed the super to stop speaking to me in such a manner. We even tried calling 311 but that wasn't even the slightest bit helpful. Our landlord was never there and our super was responsible for everyone in the building. A really crappy, toxic situation, if you ask me...
They tore down our walls and crushed tiles against the ground without cleaning them up. The building staff didn't reply to anything!! I couldn't get much help from the city of NY either. These people could care less about their tenants and I don't get it. The level of morbid sadness in this building is crazy. An A/C unit was promised to me in my lease and was never provided. They don't pick up calls. Maintenance is incompetent and the staff goes back on their word all the time. Don't screw yourself over!!!!
