Kitchen and bathroom faucets were partially broken, windows were cracked, there would be no communication from soraya unless she needed her money. It was by far the filthiest house I’ve ever moved into. Our first days were spent cleaning from the previous tenants, and then she stole $100 from our deposit for damage done by previous tenants. A ***** toddler could do a better job than her.

Bad experience overall.

Renting apartment #1 at 655 Van Buren St. NE was an absolute nightmare. The landlord, Soraya Scott is a slumlord. She did not keep up with the maintenance of the property and is very rude. I lived here for 12 months and they did not address any issues with the old property. Soraya herself would oftentimes never respond to my texts or emails and when she did they were always very rude. We learned from our upstairs neighbors early that they wouldn't fix anything. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
