Know your rights and assert them with this landlord! She either doesn't know tenant rights, doesn't care, or hopes you don't and uses it to her advantage.

The landlord here is by far the worst landlord I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. She does a lot of illegal things in the hopes that you do not know your rights as a tenant but luckily for me, the ones she used on me are illegal and void and null in the state of California so she couldn't get away with it with me. Luckily I knew my rights and asserted them, but she either doesn't know the laws or hopes that you don't.
