Avoid, Unpleasant Management

Posted 5 years ago

Avoid if there is any other option! Homeowner refuses to use anyone other than her Real Estate Agent diagnose or perform repairs, not matter how serious. This was observed over about half a decade. No upkeep at all, and had water damage and leaky windows everywhere after we moved in. Electricity has been out in the house for over a week and an Electrician has not even been scheduled. When preparing to move out, landlord would attempt to start work at 6:30 pm, knowing we had jobs which require us at 5am the next morning. Eventually we had to involve the Police just to be heard. Other issues included: forcing us to pay a $1200 water bill who's cause was never investigated to completion. Mold was discovered as we were moving out. Failing to Test for the presence of Mold. Threatened Eviction over not mowing the lawn every weekend. Had to pay for a landscaper so I could get back to my job. Made additional threats and accusations regarding complaints about a damaged trash can, which she eventually replaced when she realized she was the one who would receive a ticket form the state. Finally left when landlord tried to raise the rent literally the day before my lease would automatically renew. This tenant would recommend you avoid at any cost.
