The place itself is not bad. But Joe Ferrandino and the owner are absolutely terrible! Please spare yourself the trouble of doing business with these people. Joe is unresponsive and takes forever to get anything done. He is rude and has zero manners. He accuses you of not paying the rent when there is evidence that you already have. He and the owner remodelled the kitchen and the bathroom while I was there. For a month and half, there was dust floating in my apartment, people coming in and out with equipment. I didn't have access to a stove, a sink, a shower, even a toilet sometimes! I had to practically beg Joe for a reimbursement and I got a meager $200. Joe isn't even committed to installing smoke detectors in accordance with legal standards. He comes in unannounced, bringing exterminators or contractors whenever he feels like it. They are collecting $1900 a month total from the three bedroom I occupy. They do not provide adequate services. When Joe took over my apartment, he raised the rent by 20%. I know he will raise it on you if you make the poor choice of moving here. It's not worth that much. One can easily find a better place for much less in Philly.
