Jeff has been a great landlord for the 3+ years we have lived in his apartment. He is very responsive and has always been quick to fix any and all issues or problems that have come up. Yes, he does live outside of Binghamton but has always been available by phone and email. The property manager is a great guy who always comes by to fix any problems we have had in a timely manner. It is my understanding that good landlords are hard to come by in this town and I would 100% recommend Jeff to anyone looking to rent.
Nice landlord but Kinda regret signing after seeing the nicer houses my friends rented for the less than I pay once u figure in the cost utilities. I pay over 400 a month and the place is kinda run down. My friends pay same price for house that comes with new leather sofas 50” tv and just newer everything. Based on flooring and overall look of our house u can tell it probably hasn’t been updated at all lately also slow wifi
Thank god this school year is almost over and I get to leave this awful house my friends and I mistakenly rented from Jeff Kent. Everything in the house needs renovation. Ceilings look like they’re about to collapse! Dining room chairs came broken! Couches and mattresses so terribly stained they look like they were picked up from some curb!!! WiFi crapped the bed all the time which sucked when it came to completing online class work. Landlord also rents to non-students (didn’t mention this at signing) that are incredibly sketchy and make me feel unsafe. There are many other local and well-known student landlords that furnish their homes with top of the line appliances, televisions, leather sofas, etc for the same price we’ve been paying. My friends and I regret renting one of this guy’s properties in an attempt to save a few bucks. Also, beware that he is an absentee landlord. Since he is not local he hires a local “property manager” who is really unpleasant to deal with. For the title of “manager” you’d think he’d be a little more professional over the phone and text.
